Comments: | Who in your opinion are the 5 people that, for some reason or another, never made it to the Senior team? Let’s keep it to people within the last 10 years? And yes, there will be a prize for the best list. |

Comments: | From our friends in The Southern Star Selectors take note On Sunday next they meet Aghada in the county senior semi-final and a win would put them in the final for the first time in thirty years. Last season they also reached the semi-final, playing some great football but left that form behind them against Muskerry. A defence which was airtight all the year suddenly sprang leaks but, amazingly, they still finished only a point behind at the final whistle. This time they enter the semi-final on much less convincing form. In all their games they have blown hot and cold and it took two attempts to beat a Bantry side that were well short of the required standard. On that form they will be underdogs against an Aghada side that are extremely hard to beat always, and gave Nemo their only decent challenge in the semi-final last season. Dohenys have struggled at midfield this season and that is where Aghada are strongest so this game could be decided in the middle of the pitch. What is going for Dohenys is the fact that they have been scoring goals all season and if they can keep that up then they might just do it. They still play lovely football when in full flow but more often than not, shoot themselves in the foot with wide balls. They can’t afford that on Sunday if they want to advance to the final. |

Mysteryman, we are more concerned with preparing for the COUNTY JUNIOR'B' HURLING CHAMPIONSHIP SEMI-FINAL than finding out when the final of some SECONDARY COMPETITION in West Cork is being played |
