Am I wrong, or has there been no acknowledgement of the U16's County triumph whatsoever? |

I would like to congratulate the u16 Hurlers on winning the county Saturday. It was a great performance and a joy to see so many good hurlers on one team, hopefully ye can keep it going up through the ranks and help the club win a flyer Nhyan. Also well done to all the mentors trainers and selectors involved. |

Just to back up what Pat Mac wrote about Darren Sweetnam. We have an exceptional talent in our midst and fortunate that one of those talents benefited Dohenys and Cork hurling to whom he gave his all. No doubt Darren will make it to the top in Rugby and when he does then every sports follower will be delighted, not alone for him but for his family who have been behind him all the way, whatever sport he participated in. |

Just to wish you the best of luck, Darren. You are going to be a huge loss. I am sure Jimmy Barry will be disappointed too but being the gentleman he is, I am sure he will be the first to wish you well. Just a small request and this only if your rugby commitments will allow it, please do not forget your club and if you have time now and again I am sure the young hurlers of the Sam Maguire Club would love to listen and benefit from your skills. Good luck again. |
