Does Sunday's defeat mean that the curse of the Black Widow of Coolmountain will continue to haunt the Old Doheny and that his quest for the Andy Scannell Cup must go on and his Purgatory in this life will be prolonged! |

Well lads its over for another year, so let me say how proud I was to be involved with ye for the last two years.I have always believed that ye had the talent to do well and so ye have proved. My one wish now, is that ye will stick together and give it another right good go next year. the experience of the last two years can only stand to ye and what about the supporters, I have being involved with the club for a long number of years and Sun morning leaving town, Sun. evening in Cork and Sun. night on the return will be something I will never forget, are they not the best supporters in the country, Again well done to the team, the supporters and especially to Jerry for all the hard work and his dedication. |

well done to the lads in the final. it might not have been the result we were all hoping for however we got to the semi final last year, the final this year and next year will be our year to WIN. I was never more proud than sunday to be a doheny supporter and will never lose my faith in the lads to bring home the cup. Looking forward to another great year of thrills. |

Thanks lads for a great year. Ye have done us proud. The town was united for the first time in so long that's an achievement in its self. Hold the heads up high and be proud of being a Doheny. We know ye can regroup and be back next year and take it that one step further. Up the Dohenys..... |

Well done lads, ye did the parish proud yesterday. A little bit of luck and we could be celebrating now. I'm sure this team will be back and will go one step further. Couldn't believe the reception last night. Imagine what it will be like when Andy Scannell is brought home. Up the Dohenys. |
