Well done to Darren Sweetnam on his appearance with the Cork Seniors over the weekend. I am sure it will be the first of many over the next few years. I presume he is the 1st in our 125 year history ? |

The Doheny Ladies Football AGM is on this Friday, Jan 27th in the Pavilion at 8pm sharp. As the club caters for a large number of young girls, we would hope to see good turnout from parents especially. Although no silverware was won this year, it is encouraging to see an increase in the numbers partaking and enjoying this great sport. New members welcome to attend and as always we welcome anyone who has a few spare hours to help out. Thanks to all who helped out with the club last year, it was much appreciated, a special thanks to my fellow officers, coaches, trainers and parents. |

Congrats to MI college on a great win today in the Munster senior football semi-final against Coachford. Some very good footballers on that team and full forward Mark Quinn is a rare talent, one for the future. They meet champions Clonakilty CC in the final and it should be a great game. Well done to Pat and Charlie in charge of the team. |

Doheny GAA Social event saturday 21st January at 8.30pm.Music till late and main course desert and tea/coffee all for only 10euro a head which can be paid at the door on night. Presentation of medals to under21 hurlers,player and clubperson of the year presentations and presentations to newly weds will take place.
