Comments: Best of luck to Darren Sweetnam tonight. What a huge achievement. It's great to see Dohenys in brackets after a players name when they're lining out for Cork.

Comments: Best of luck to Darren Sweetnam and the Cork minor hurlers tonight Darren , I think, is only the second minor hurler from the club to play minor hurling with Cork. There were others but they all played their club hurling with other clubs. Dr. Jim Young, Fr. Gerard Collins, Eamonn Young and Johnny Young all Glen Rovers Michael Donegan, Blackrock, John Collins, Randal Og. Con Coakley, Chapel St. and Darren are the only two from Dohenys to play with Cork. Eamonn Young was the only one to win All Ireland Minor hurling Medals 1938 AND 39, so hears wishing Darren the best of luck in 2010. Maybe someone else can add a few more names to this

Comments: I see O2 have updated the Terms and Conditions for the O2 Affinity Scheme, it is no longer showing the Rugby page and the closing date for subscribing is now 18th March 2011.

Comments:If there are any concerns over this scheme, I would suggest that you contact O2 directly. This scheme is an excellent initiative by O2 to assist GAA clubs with a financial return. Please note, dohenygaa.com does not accept responsibility for the content of external websites.

Reviewing the 02 Affinity Scheme which was posted on the 23rd of April, if you want to sign up to the 02 engage via the link provided http://www.o2online-media.ie/corkgaa/ you must accept the Terms and Conditions .These Terms and Conditions are clearly meant for the IRFU affiliated Rugby clubs and as such should not be attached to the GAA.  Surely 02 could have provided an updated GAA version of these Terms and Conditions instead of using the RUGBY version which is also showing the closing date for subscribing as March 31st 2009

Comments: Just a word for the brillant under14 footballers, even though you were beaten by a much stronger Nemo team. Every one of your supporters left Kilmurray on Sun evening felling very proud of ye. The future of Doheny football is in safe hands. Also well done to your mentors, bring on the county.
