Good luck to the Junior Hulers. To look at the top pitch wednesday, the 3/4's cut grass looked magnificent. Genuniely and I know nothing better, huge credit to those being "eagled eyed" and cutting the grass over and over again. But thats really huge expertise. I watched young fellas messing around in the top goal and the ground twas looking for swamp. From my limited abilty as a footballer there will be no hop, grasp and be able to tilt. It had to be done, but naturally that pitch will not be right again in three years. No Proclaiming. Tis Sod. As a young fella always coming in by that pitch parking by the pavillion that was happiness. Now we've the "no to want to know" ruling the club.Nook. |

Interesting stuff alright - maybe the opposition had a few injuries/ a late night the night before and got the game called off. I have no idea but lets just call this episode 'Waterhole' and move on to next weekend. |
