Comments: Anon, we can only work with what we have.We would be more than delighted to publish photos of the U16 team if we had them. If you are too shy to personally hand them over you can e-mail them to the above address. As we said in last week's news we would welcome any photos for inclusion.

Patmc - The Oracle has a masterful way with words and without a 'couple' of these people posting it would be a very empty board.

Great U21's drew tonight and hopefully future postings are up to your standard when this summers playing season commences.

Comments: I notice that lately The Oracle, Hawkeye and a couple of more are dominating the guestbook lately with a lot of old drivel. Would it not be more in their line to wish the  Under 21 team the best of luck tonight in the first round of the championship and stick to matters dealing with the club.

For the Attention of The Hawkeye, his Holiness the Pope, the Queen of Denmark,Barako Bama and other distinguished gentry................................

Your being a tad tramatic there my hawkeyed buddy, the GAA or as its now known the GPA has proven to be a bold, rugged and resourceful organization over many's the long year and this little tiff in the rebel county is merely a storm on the seas(not even a tsunami) and now that calm has been restored it should be plain sailing from here on and when Sam is on his way back to his homeland(mallabraca) in the sunshine of a September evening, under the watchfull eye of Conor Counihan{legend},Terry O'Neill and Jim Nolan all that went before in the dark months of Novemver, December, January and February will seam like a distant memory or a nasty dream.

You have to admit hawkeye that we have a few geezers in that county board of ours but were not too worried about them now, nor is the rebel republic worried about what the rest of the country thinks either, were similar to Cuba in that respect, were not too pushed about Uncle Sam looking over our shoulder we'll hold onto our ballistic missiles.
The theory behind letting the foreign sports into croker is that the dosh from these big match's is meant to pumped back into the GAA at grassroots level,so hawkeye to try and help ease your pain when you see the likes of Brain O Driscoil(drico) or Damien Duff in full flight on the hollowed croker turf and you can start to fell the convulsions coming on,try thinking of it this way.The spondulacs generated from these games is being used to buy hurl's,football's,helmut kohl's, slitors,kit-jersey dudek's,boots and Pat Shorts for kids in disadvantaged areas's like Ballymun and Balineen and help bring them into GAA fraternity.....

In my next outing I'm going to attempt to deal with a subject that's caused much hearthache and pain, weeping and nashing of teeth to many's the honourable club in Cork, Munster and outside,..............................How the f**k do we beat nemo???!!!..................and the good my friends is that the answer is not as overwhelming as one might think.
Bonjour!!!

Cans of worms, pickets, Croke Park opening up to foreign games - all in the past now as Cork have come to their sense and are back in action. Is it just me or can there be a parallelism be drawn between what happened in Cork recently and that famous North Wexford standoff of 1968 - if Cork come out the same way as Wexford did then happy days ahead.

Senior training is progressing nicely and some fresh faces may raise the bar a bit this year.

Snoop Dog is working on a new albumn so can crank it out in the dressing rooms before battle.

Comments: Was it not the County Board that opened the can of worms?

This happened in the past as well, it's not something new but in the past the players did not stand together, unlike the current bunch.

By standing together as one, they forced the hand of the board. It showed bottle that they didn't display in september, lets hope for further improvement this year.

The Oracle, if I may digress a bit.....

Now that the players have got their way once again I would like to draw a parrallel between the players 'diva demands' and letting soccer/ rugby being played on the hallowed Croke Park turf? Is it that the Cork boys are learning too much from the likes of Beckham, Brian O'Driscoll etc...seems Cork have alot of cranky people on the team at the moment - maybe they picked some of this 'diva-esque' from the Croke Park dresser rooms from last years failed All-Ireland attempts.

They are the laughing stock of the country with their antics however unfortunately they have just opened a can of worms and the GAA as we know it may be coming to an end.

Let's see how the Cork teams do now that they have the mgt. they craved for - remember no excuses anymore.......

To be contined........
