Comments: I think it is a disgrace that the club are not getting senior championship games after all it is probably the best ground for spectors to view a game, parking and access to the ground are second to none! How come junior clubs like st marys and intermadite clubs like newcestown are getting so many games after all it is not to long ago that there was a game in Sam maguire Park every second sunday! is this the same reason that our footballers are bing over looked for inclusion in the county senior football team?

Comments: Here we all are in the 21st Century.
We have'nt learned a whole alot. We still do the same things every day, I mean its all routine its like we've programmed ourselves to do this. Now when you take this into perspective of GAA players life. We see that this routine blindly prevents us from achieving great things. Our routine is influenced by the atitude of those around us.
If we are weak we are greatly inluenced. An optimist sees an opurtunity in every calamity a pessimist sees a calamity in every oppurtunity.
Are you the optimist or the pessimist?
Don't be influenced players of Doheny Gaa remember ONLY THOSE WHO DARETO FAIL GREATLY CAN ACHIEVE GREATLY.

Comments: Firstly hard luck to Cork.....i think......well what dya expect with junior players........
i think this should spur Us on to major things..ie county finals and rub it right in the noses of some of the rather larger than life selectors who seemed to bypass Dunmanway .

Comments: Hard luck today re Cork!  Was personally hoping that Cork would do something clean bad to Colm Cooper to rid him from Club Championship but it just didn't materialise....

It was nasty.  Real nasty.Â

Maybe see you in the All Ireland Club Championship if foxy Dan gets his act together.... xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Comments: Spot on Oracle. Reckon you were one of those deprived of the chance to win a County! Colums were champions and hot favourites going into the '92 final in Drimoleague. Scores were scarce in the first half with Colums opening the scoring with a goal and Philip Kelleher equalising to leave the sides tied at the break. Maguires did the damage at the start of the second half scoring 3 goals in 7 minutes through Kelleher again, John O' Donovan and Stephen Collins. It was backs to the wall for the remainder of the game as Colums laid siege to the Maguires goal but Daragh Farr was outstanding in goal as were Tim Crowley, David Nyhan, Pat Collins, and Brendan Nyhan in the backs. Aidan Mc Sweeney and Donal O' Sullivan hurled well at midfield. Noel Collins also played in the forwards. Missing two backs and two forwards. Perhaps you can supply the missing names.  Probably some of the following ,Paddy Connolly, Denis Healy, Colum Mc Sweeney, Mark Ross, Michael Carroll, Gavin Daly and William O' Donovan.
