LADIES VICTORIOUS IN JUNIOR FINAL - (Number of times read: 828)

Well done to Doheny Ladies who beat Glanmire in the Junior B football county league final on Monday 30th June. The Dohenys started well scoring 3 points without a reply but Glanmire fought back and were just 1 point behind at half-time, where the score was 5 points to 4 points.

The Dohenys added 2 goals very early in the second half and were ahead by 7 points before Glanmire scored a goal, narrowing the gap to 4 points. Dohenys scored another 1-2 while Glanmire added a further 3 points but Dohenys came out champions with the final score being 3-7 to 1-8.
