U16 Football
A mixed bag for our under 16 footballers this week they
recorded an impressive win against O Donovan Rossa in their opening league
game, running out winners on a scoreline of 5-17 – 4-10.
They travelled to Newcestown on Sunday last full of
confidence but unfortunately came out on the wrong side of a 5-12 to 4-7 scoreline.
U14 Football
Sam Maguires U14 footballers have also had 2 league games to
date, narrowly losing out to Clonakilty 4-11 to 5-5 in their opening
game. They more than made up for this loss when turning in a very impressive
display to defeat Ibane Gaels 5-18 to 4-5 in their 2nd
game in Sam Maguire Park.
