Huge credit to Dave O Leary, John Monaher, John Lynch Snr who was always there, and Steve Mc Coy. As long as those names are immortalised on this goldfish-bowl of a forum. It isn't an accident btw as the peanut gallery might forget.Up the Dohenys! Nook. |

Well done to the under 12 Hurlers and their selectors who were narrowly beaten in a final that had great excitement and skill.Best of luck to the Junior (A) hurlers against O Mathunas on next Sunday in Enniskeane. What a wonderfull job Dave O Leary and Gabriel O Sullivan have done not to forget the work John Monaher,John Lynch(Sn) and Steve Mc Coy have but in to Under-Age over a long number of years which is now reaping rewards. |

Tough luck on the U.12 hurlers tonight, beaten by a last minute goal in the final. They played well and there's a great future. Well done to Joe kelly and his gang for all the hard work. It's one all between Dohenys and Mathunas in hurling finals now, who will win the deciding rubber on Sunday? |

theres no motavation needed for next sunday. it a junior a west cork final . as a player who played hurling for the dohenys for lot longer than i care to remember and never pucked a ball in a junior a match, i never thought that the dohenys would get to a west cork junior a final. if the players need a bit of motavation then think of the men who kept the hurling club going in the 80's and 90's when we were being beaten by cricket scores but still gave our all every game.... we would ave given our right arm to play in a west cork junior a final. bring back the flyer nyhan back to dway sunday. up the dohenys. |

well done to the junior hurlers, mighty display of grit and determination not to mention some skillful hurling as well, alot of credit must go to Dave O'Leary (not a native mentor and not that it should matter)who has done fantastic work in developing the hurling in this club. |
