| Comments: | Just a quick one! I see that 3 Doheny legends have been
nominated for the best West-Cork team for the last 25 years. It would be great if one of the lads could
get picked therefore it’s very important that every person associated with the
Doheny Club would vote for the individuals involved. Mark Farr at corner back,
Mickey O’Donovan at centre back and Mickey Farr at mid-field. If we don’t stick by our own who will! Check
it out on the back of the Southern Star!

my christmas wish is donie goes to the Yew tree bar in dunmanway christmas night and kisses pat mac under the mistelow.lads i won counties with dohenys so i think i should have a say..whats happening with excutives on this website is fairly childish.you are meant too be the people of the club the younger lads and players should look up too.you are setting a very unprofessional example .do ye ever wonder why some players are not preparing like professioals {as mentioned by this website users}.Who have they too aspire too?Its about time all the bitching stopped and we pull together and win something.too win a county takes a club,trainers,players and supporters effort.for the dohenys too be successfull it starts in the committee and works its way onto the playing field .merry x mas and happy new year too all dohenys |

Vissonary. There is no need to start a collection or a petition for me to come back to the Doheny Club. I stand on record what I have contributed and I never want any browny points for it because I did it for the good of Cumann Luchleas Gael and always represented the Doheny Club interest at all times according to the rules of the Association whether you like it or not.To Mary Maybury I wish to state I am not critiscising Eddie Moloney who was the only one out of 27 on the Executive Committee was willing to represent the Doheny Club which he has done longer than myself and Iwould like to thank Eddie for representing the Club at Convention and at all levels in the Association very efficiently. If a convention starts at 6 pm with concelebrated Mass as a mark of respect to the members of the Association who passed to there eternal reward during the year and to former members who passed away if I was representing the Club where there was a onus on the Club in the year it was I would be present from the start of Convention at 6pm to the finish of convention at 11.45pm. |

What does everyone think of the senior draws? I'm delighted we got Clon. It's great motivation for training and commitment in the coming months to play (and beat) the current county champions! |

Well said donie mac...he is very much entitled to express his opinions and donie is one the greatest clubmen to represent the doheny club...i think this minor bickering should cease immediately...In the end of the day we want the club to pull in the one direction...in fairness clonakilty or the nemos dont have heated debates on their websites and air thier washing in public!!!!its time to move on |
