We won a west cork hurling title at U16 level against Argideen rangers (I think it was 1996) under Jim Nyhan. We lost the County 1/4 final to St. Catherine's that year in Pairc Ui Rinn.

Comments:Here here Pat.ÂFor far too long the Clubs dirty linen has been aired in public, we are the laughing stock of West Cork and beyond. It’s bringing the club into disrepute. The review meeting and the AGM are the appropriate forums that should be used to voice opinion. We are a small club numbers wise so it’s very important that we are all going in the one direction. There’s nothing beneficial in trying to undermine the current executive and the doheny club at every possible occasion be it on this guest-book or in public houses.Â

Comments: Donie its now time to put up or shut up The A.G.M.is in a weeks time and if you have a grevience that is the place to air it. I hope you have the guts tto turn up.A couple of weeks ago you stated that yopu always stood up to be counted. You stood up alright and walked out on more than one occassion just because you could not get your own way. Majority rules, there are 25 or so others on the committee and they dont always get there own way either, but theyaccept it. Cop yourself on. You are like a child that someone had taken away his toy.

To: Daniel O Donavan,

Daniel having served Dohenys over the last 33 years at under-age and adult level the reason I could not attend the Meeting on the Friday 27th November is because of what happened at the Doheny Committee Executive Meeting of the 11th March where as Runai of Cumann Na Dubhchonnaigh I quoted and acted according to the rules of Cumann Luchleas Gael as regards the holding of a E.G.M which I make no apology to anyone for but unfortunetly some members  of the Doheny Club Executive Commitee do not operate according to the rules of Cumann Luchleas Gael. The Club still has not given me any reason up to now why this happened and let there be transparency and give me the answer why this happened.
