Era thats allright if ye want to make a mockery out of the thing, pulling the piss and having a laugh at it, by all means go ahead, i cant be wasting my time with ye though anyways there should be a warning of "explicit lyrics"  going with those youtube links mawser ......

Hawkeye my old sagosca, my nomimation for player of the year would have to be "spud hurley" or the "the prati" as i like to call him after his late late show against bal in the under 21 final..and i'm thinking there should be a new award as well this year ......"the hall of fame award" and my nomination for this is skellig lehane.
Lads it does'nt look good for cork hurling camp, all starting to kick off again, sur i suppose we all knew what happened last year was only a quick-fix a "quicke", anyways i've to cut this one short as "a shot at love with tila tequila" is coming on mtv any second.....

Comments: thanks "nook". I left myself down though. The Randal J4 full back line gave me a nawful roasting. I hear we're redeveloping the top pitch and when and while thats going on, I must go over and make sure there's a big-big black lob of paint put on the centre of the crossbar so i can use that as a target re-learning to place the ball over the bar rather then relying on brute force and blazing the ball wide from free's 13 yards out. the big word barry used about my free taking from 20 or 13 yards out was nonchalant. I just remenbered.thanks for feeding my ego again "nook".

Comments: i must say after the 3 junior 4 games that the head is back again a great man to kick a point so i think the senior selectors should get him fit and then the andy scannell is on the way

Comments: Ah, The Oracle - suggesting a couple of bars of a song - no notes from me however I'm sure the 'Buffett of D'way' will be able to put pen to paper.

Would be good to hear feedback on 'Player of the Year' for 2008? Any suggestions?

I'd agree with ya patmc, down with that sort of thing, should to be setting a good example for the youth of today, lord knows they've enough negative influencies with their bebo and what not, but on the other side of the coin its easy to be philasopical when your not involved yourself you know, the blue ribbon of west cork u16 football was at steak, an passions were always going to run high, lord knows their hard enough won....like lets cast the clock back 16 years or so and it was a young lad by the name of abb playing in the west cork final,  along side his bestest friend d deasy, maybe u had(all-be it against your nature) a harsh word or two for the ref on duty on that particular day, who knows.......

As regards player power, a former chairman's opening address at the dinner social some years ago might offer some insight..."First and foremost I would like to thank the players for their effort through out the year, training, playing matches etc,etc... cause if there was no players there would be no club", so there you have in a nutshell, no players =no club/organization......Capiche.

Anyways thats enough looking back for the time being..., lads i'm disapointed with the lack of interest in the idea for a new club anthem, lord knows i'm going to have to put pin to paper myself.....see can i get the ball rolling..

Comments: Hi lads, meaning The Oracle,Sam Reilly and Hawkeye I am keeping my eye on ye, enjoying the debate about the refs but I think it is time to get off that bandwagon, But first have ye any comment about the well known former footballer from Clon who attended last Sun under 16 final in Dunmanway (Clon vs Skibb) refereed by our own Donie. Even though Clon won this former player and father of one of the players never stopped shouting at Donie, a great example to the young lads.
New subject, what do ye think of this new phenomenon of player power. Aload of sh*te if you ask me. look forward to your comments
