Tadhg who? Anyway, as many people say - it is not the winning that counts but rather the taking part.........still can't that into my head but I guess thats the way people think. Up the Dohenys for Junior 1 hurling next year!!! |

So the Seniors are ending the year as they started - empty handed and nothing to show for their efforts. Don't despair as you gave us alot of memories. Up the Dohenys!!! |

Comments: | Would be great if the lads can pick up the Kelleher Shield as it would go some way in compensating for coming away from the County Final empty handed. While not the county cup the Kelleher Shield would be welcome.......... Come on lads, come on!!!! |

Well done to you all. Delighted to hear that the hurlers won on Saturday evening. Hope the celebration after was half as good as the wake after the football loss. It made up for a lot of the pain anyway. Up the Doheny's everywhere. |

Comments: | We are following you down-under and a great result. Cork County Champions - who would have known it would come with the aid of a sliotar instead of a football. We might get someone on the senior hurling team soon enough. Has there ever been a Doheny on the Senior County panel? Too bad about the footballers but looks like Nemo had the upper hand through out the game. With the hurlers progressing in Munster it will be an interesting winter.............oh to be back in Doheny-land |
